why?

WHRW, the Harpur Radio Workshop, is a non-commercial, educational community radio station. That means that we do not sell air time, and that we are run on a very small budget derived from two things: 1) SUNY Binghamton's student activity fee and 2) fundraising. That's where this comes in.

Back in 1992, we put out our first CD, a compilation entitled Moe's Meat Sandwich. It contained many tracks of music, spoken word, and other forms of audio art by station members.

In 1993, Moe's Second Helping: The Veggie Pita from Pluto came into being.

Then, in 1998, Moe's Triple Bypass arrived on the scene.
