Here are some helpful links.
- Binghamton
University
- I am currently a student at Binghamton University. As of this writing,
I am a 3rd year Senior. I intend to graduate with a BS in Math and a BS in
Computer Science.
- CoRE
- CoRE is where I live. As of Spring 1997, students at Binghamton
University do not generally get their own web space, leaving them to use
places like Geocities that give
anyone free webspace.
- HTML Help by the Web Design
Group
- This site is a great reference for HTML tags. There is a nice HTML 3.2
quick reference page at this site. Quite useful, recommended.
- Yahoo's
directory on HTML
- Yahoo is always a great place to
find things. The directory on HTML is very useful when constructing one's
own website. There are links about HTML tags, creating good web sites, and
links to other resources.
- Tom Head's Homepage
- My father is a professor at Binghamton University in the Mathematical Sciences
Department.
- Eileen Head's
Homepage
- My mother is a graduate student at Binghamton University in the Computer Science
Department.
- Professor
Steflik's CS-248 Intro to Java course (Spring 97)
- As of this writing, I am the Course Assistant for CS-248. Professor
Steflik has all kinds of information on this course for viewing.
- HTML template
- Here's a HTML template to look at. Feel free to save it and edit it
for your own purposes. I use it whenever I start a new page. It will open
in a new window. Standard E-Mail and Head tags are included.
- FTPSearch
- I've found FTPSearch very useful for locating files in FTPSpace. It's
essentially a very good web interface for archie, an FTP answer to
Altavista.
- Ghostscript, Ghostview and
GSview
- Ghostscript is a software viewer for Unix, Windows, OS/2, and
Macintosh for postscript files.
- The Spirit of
Christmas Official Distribution Site
- Last year, BTV aired a 5 minute video about some kids in a town called
South Park. The video posed Jesus against Santa in a duel to the end. To
see who one, visit The Spirit of Christmas
Official Distribution Site and download the 50 Meg quicktime
movie.
- Do you have a useful link to
add?
- Email me if you've got a useful link about anything. I add links
which are at least somewhat obscure. A good link is one that you find in
a serendipitous Altavista
search. A
bad link would be a link about Java pointing to http://www.javasoft.com.
